Club of the Year

The Branch first organised a Club of the Year competition in 2019, with the first winner being the Bob Carter Centre at Drayton.

In 2020, the Carleton Rode Social Club (since moved to Mid Anglia Branch) won the award, but no award was made in 2021 or 2022 because of the COVID pandemic.

The 2023 Branch Club of the Year is the Bob Carter Centre, winning for a second time in four years.

Clubs can be nominated at any time, by emailing the Clubs Officer on clubs@norwich.camra.org.uk.

A panel will visit all the nominated clubs in the early months of the year, to score them using the national judging criteria, with the winner being the club with the highest overall score. If you’d like to be part of the panel, please email the Clubs Officer.
